18th ANNUAL DOWNTOWN HOLIDAY MARKET RETURNS NOVEMBER 18 Get Ready For The One-Stop Shop In Downtown DC With Local Craft Goods, Artisan Makers and #SoMuchMore

WHAT: Operated by the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) and Diverse Markets Management, the 18th Annual Downtown Holiday Market, Washington D.C.’s outdoor shopping village, kicks off the holiday season Friday, November 18. The beloved outdoor market returns to downtown Penn Quarter, transforming two city blocks on F Street into a one-stop shop, open-air winter wonderland. Guests can make the most of their holiday shopping experience this winter supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs across the region, finding unique, festive treasures in the heart of the District through December 23. The outdoor shopping village’s expansive footprint allows for wide aisles for shopping, browsing and enjoying the foods and live entertainment.

Following past traditions, the holiday market lineup features more than 75 exhibitors including Black-owned and minority-owned businesses such as Choquette, Terratorie, Tora Mata, Kin & Care and Shade Metals. The DC Pop-Up, the District’s curated, small and locally made retail experience supported by the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD), will also be featured, along with returning food and beverage favorites across the market with tasty treats and hot beverages from Migue’s Mini Donuts, Alexa’s Empanadas and Churros and A Taste of Germany, and more. Additional exciting and entertaining features include a live stage of exceptional regional performers. The daily schedule will be announced on the Downtown Holiday Market’s website

ARTECHOUSE and the Downtown Holiday Market have also partnered to celebrate the district's most joyful season of the year with an all-new immersive extended reality (XR) experience for guests. For a third annual activation, the collaborators are allowing visitors the chance to uncover a hidden layer of XR art at the holiday market to explore limitless creative possibilities whether visiting the market or at ARTECHOUSE’s newest immersive holiday experience.
