Skydome Restaurant Launches Its Newly Refined Summer Menu

Legendary Arlington Rooftop Restaurant Overlooking D.C.’s Skyline

ARLINGTON, VA (May, 28 2024) – Skydome, located atop the DoubleTree by Hilton Crystal City Hotel, summer menu is now available to guests. Masterfully curated by Executive Chef Chris Murry and Executive Sous Chef Guy Ododi, the menu boasts with seasonal enhancements.

The summer menu features a variety of never before seen dishes, showcasing American fare with a Southern inspired twist and incorporating locally sourced items. Starting with the Maine Lobster Salad which is a mixture of baby gem lettuce, piquillo, cucumber, avocado mousse and lime sumac vinaigrette. Then we recommend trying the popular Vegan Bolognese Paccheri Pasta filled with cremini mushroom, cauliflower, carrot, cashew parmesan, and sweet basil. Another favorite consists of the Crab Cake Sandwich which is handmade and paired with chesapeake remoulade and old bay fries. Last but not least, Chef Murry’s Organic Roasted Chicken is a must try with maple coconut palm spice and citrus-honey nectar gastrique made from our rooftop beehive, complete with creamy mashed potatoes. Chef Chris Murry began his passion for culinary and creating inspired menus from a young age. Working in various roles in the kitchen, his knack for crafting cuisine and recipes helped mold him into the Chef he is today. His Southern/American-inspired dishes, while incorporating locally sourced items, have helped to transform the menu in Skydome.

Chef Guy Ododi, a native of Cameroon, has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Chef Guy’s favorite technique is French food and adding flavor and spice to dishes. He is honored to be part of the hotel team and is excited to pair his style with Chef Chris and the rest of the team to continue serving savory and delectable cuisines. 

The DMV’s only signature rotating restaurant gives diners an amazing 360 degree view of the D.C. skyline and Potomac River. The unique rotating restaurant is bathed in natural light during the day and sparkles with evening energy and the national mall lights at night.

Reservations can be made for dinner Tuesday through Saturday evenings on OpenTable. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome based on availability. Dinner is served from 5pm to 10pm and underground parking will be validated at the restaurant.
