Enjoy expanded brunch service and a festive New Year’s Eve celebration this holiday season
Washington, DC—dLeña by Chef Richard Sandoval is excited to announce distinct holiday programming to celebrate the festive season. The modern Mexican concept will offer expanded brunch service on Black Friday and New Year’s Day with a special prix fixe menu on New Year’s Eve.
Enjoy Bottomless Brunch on Black Friday and New Year’s Day
dLeña will extend its bottomless brunch service for Black Friday (Friday, November 29) and New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1). From 10am to 3pm, dLeña brunch guests will choose between ordering bottomless food and drinks ($69) or bottomless food ($45) and drinks a la carte. A la carte pricing is also available for food. Indulge in a Premium New Year’s Eve Dinner on December 31
On New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, indulge in a celebratory five-course, prix fixe menu with offerings sure to please every palate. For $159 per person, with an optional $100 coursed beverage pairing, guests can enjoy an array of starters including wagyu empanadas with almonds, truffle cheese, guajillo cream sauce, and chimichurri, and ostiones a la leña with grilled oysters, celery root, bacon morita jam, chipotle mignonette, and smoked trout caviar, as well as a variety of salads and soups. Choose from inviting main dishes like wagyu filete mignon with lobster mashed potato, grilled broccolini, bone marrow butter, and dried chili gastrique, grilled Pacific halibut with grilled bok choy, ponzu achiote, warm bacon relish, smoked trout caviar, and toasted hazelnuts, and coliflor a la leña with charred cauliflower, chimichurri, red pipian, truffle cheese fondue, among other choices straight from dLeña’s wood burning grill. Top off the meal with desserts like honey vanilla cheesecake with honeycomb, and citrus berry blend, creme brûlée with espresso, agave gooseberries, and orange butter cookie, and a selection of ice creams and sorbets. Reservations will be required for the prix fixe meal, available in the dLeña restaurant and downstairs at tables in the ROJA lounge. Upstairs and downstairs bar seats will be available first come, first served with items ordered a la carte. dLeña will be closed on Thanksgiving, November 28, and Christmas Day, December 25. dLeña and dLeña ROJA are located at 476 K Street NW, Suite D, Washington, DC 20001. Lunch hours are 11am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Dinner hours are 5pm to 10pm Sunday through Thursday, and 5pm to 11pm Friday and Saturday. Bottomless brunch is offered at dLeña from 10am to 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are available until 30 minutes before the restaurant closes.
