Join Events DC’s Summer Movie Series: Wish & Barbie

WHAT: 

Events DC, the premier host of entertainment, sporting and cultural events around Washington D.C., is back with its Summer Movie Series. 

This week will feature Disney’s movie Wish (2023), join the family-friendly event with snacks, light fare, activities,a live DJ, raffle drawings and more. Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and the movie will begin at 8:00pm. 

The following night, the blockbuster film Barbie (2023) will be shown complete with a disco themed party, Barbie-fied activities, and complimentary refreshments, while they last with the movie beginning at 8:00pm. 

Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit in the grass while enjoying the films. Both events are free for the community; to register online in advance for Wish, click HERE and to register for Barbie, click HERE.

Parking is available in Lot 3 adjacent to the DC Armory

WHEN:

  • Wish: Wednesday, August 14 | 6:00pm - 10:00pm, movie beginning at 8:00pm

  • Barbie: Thursday, August 15 | 6:00pm - 10:00pm, movie beginning at  8:00pm

The inclement weather dates of both events will be on Tuesday, August 20.
