5/19 - 5/21: Celebrate World Whisky Day at Brickstones Kitchen & Bar
WHAT: Join Brickstones Kitchen & Bar for World Whisky Day (5/20) and celebrate with a local favorite: the restaurant’s signature Smoked Old Fashioned. Brickstones Kitchen & Bar will offer the classic cocktail for $10 (normally $14) in addition to whiskey-infused dishes and other drink specials for the entire weekend, from Friday, May 19, through Sunday, May 21.
Similar to a traditional old fashioned, the cocktail is infused with bitters, bourbon whiskey, brandy cherry, orange peels and a touch of maple syrup. The Smoked Old Fashioned features subtle smoky flavors and packs complex bitter tastes into each sip. Brickstones Kitchen & Bar is proud to offer guests a curated cocktail experience that celebrates the distillers and purveyors of the DMV region.
Those looking for a non-alcoholic version of the Smoked Old Fashioned can enjoy the restaurant’s substitution of the bourbon whiskey for barley tea. Pair the cocktail or mocktail with special whiskey-infused dishes, only available from May 19 through May 21, in addition to the popular Sticky Finger Ribs and Exotic Mushroom Flatbread.
