NEW SHOWS ANNOUNCED AT CITY WINERY WASHINGTON DC

Ivy City Winery Adds Diverse Acts to Lineup

Washington, D.C. (August 19, 2019)—City Winery Washington DC (1350 Okie St NE) has added several new shows to The Wine Garden and Concert Venue slated for the fall and winter. Newly added shows include Soul, Pop, Folk, Country, R&B, and Americana acts.  

Dance the night away with local DMV go-go group, Team Familiar on 9/17. In October, the Grammy-winning Third Day frontman Mac Powell performs with his new country band,Mac Powell and The Family Reunion on 10/18. Closing out October, guests can catch Crank Crusaders feat. Raheem Devaughn: The Go-Go Experience on Halloween evening.

In December, reunited boy-band O-Town will be performing their greatest hits and songs off their new album on 12/5. Ring in the New Year with Secret Society in the Wine Garden on 12/31 or catch R&B artist Lyfe Jennings on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Tonight, City Winery will kick off the week with The DC Moth StorySLAM: Camp.Tomorrow, accomplished bass guitarist Tiffsbass will perform. For some laughs, join local D.C. comedians Simone and Friends with Randolph Terrance, Kasha Patel, Umar Khan, Natalie McGill, Brock Snyder comedy show in the Wine Garden on 8/20. On 8/21, Louis Prima, Jr. & The Witnesses will perform big band jazz complete with free swing dance lessons. Jim Boggia will perform a tribute to “The Man” himself, Bruce Springsteen, on 8/22 with his show Bruce Off Broadway in the Wine Garden.

On Friday, the weekend starts with Gary Hoey performing in the Wine Garden and Roger Cregar playing his Texan-country tunes on the main stage. Saturday evening brings two opportunities to catch Urban Comedy Flavorz Presents: "Make America Mixed Again" feat. Pierre, Rob Maher, Rallo Boykins. If guests are looking for some explosive salsa sound, Manolo Mairerna will perform in the Wine Garden the same night. Close out the weekend with gospel sounds from local Hammond B3 organ player PJ Morgan.

City Winery’s first floor Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar is available for pre or post-show dinner and drinks. Reservations can be made atwww.citywinery.com/washingtondc/. Additionally, guests can experience a range of City Winery’s wines at the Tasting Bar located in the entrance alcove, now open on Sundays as well.

All shows at City Winery start at 8pm unless otherwise noted, and City Winery’s website is updated weekly with special guest announcements and ticketing information. Secure valet parking is available during all City Winery hours of operation.
