Washington, DC—Atlas Brew Works’ Ivy City Brewery & Tap Room location is excited to announce new weekly and monthly programming coming to the solar-powered brewery. New Ivy City Tap Room General Manager Caleb Metts and Assistant General Manager & Events Coordinator Lyn Holland have exciting upcoming events and promotions at the brewery’s flagship location.
New All Day Happy Hour on Thursdays at Ivy City
Join the Ivy City team for an all day happy hour every Thursday from 4pm to 9pm. Enjoy $5 core beers (Bullpen Pilsner, Silent Neighbor, Dance of Days, Blood Orange Gose, District Common, and Ponzi IPA) all day including during Thursday night trivia.
Trivia Thursdays with Christian Hunt Return - every Thursday starting at 7pm
Take part in trivia hosted by Christian Hunt every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm at Atlas’ Ivy City Brewery & Tap Room. Rotating food vendors are available each week so attendees can pair their solar-powered craft brews with local food favorites. Check the atlasbrewworks.com events calendar for upcoming themed trivia the first Thursday of every month like Marvel (November 3) and holiday (December 1).
Jigs & Swigs at Atlas Ivy City - select Sundays at 3pm
Enjoy a special Irish dance workout suitable for everyone from experienced Irish dancers to beginners. Learn the fundamentals of Irish dance from fitness and dance professionals in an inclusive, low pressure environment. Support the Atlas Brew Works team by enjoying a well deserved post-workout pint with new Irish dance friends. Tickets include the class and first post-class pint. Plant and Book Swaps - the first Sunday (plant swaps) of the month (plant swaps) and select Sundays (book swap)
Join the Atlas Ivy City team for plant swaps the first Sunday of every month and vinyl swaps the third Sunday of every month. On November 6, December 4, and so on, plant lovers are invited to bring in their plants, cuttings, pots, planters, and any kind of accessory to trade with fellow plant lovers. Browse a wide-variety of plant items to take home. Swappers are also invited to leave non-traded goods for others to take home. Similarly, join the Ivy City team on October 23 for a book swap. Peruse old, new, or gently used books and swap favorites with other area book lovers while sipping on solar-powered brews. Food vendors will be available for purchase during every Sunday swap. Local Vendor Popup - Sunday, October 16, from 1pm to 5pm
Support local artists and artisans from the area at Atlas Ivy City’s vendor popup on Sunday, October 16. From 1pm to 5pm, shop handmade soaps, watercolors, jewelry, teas, and more while sipping Atlas brews.
Tarot Card Happy Hour - Friday, October 21, from 5pm to 9pm
On October 21 from 5pm to 9pm, enjoy tarot card readings from Ash Espiritu Libre, owner of botanica store Tribe Called Vibe. Guests will receive a three-card reading and gain insight into their past, present, or future while enjoying Atlas’ wide variety of beers.
Howl-a-Weiner at Atlas Ivy City - Friday, October 28, from 6pm to 8pm
Celebrate Halloween early with your four-legged best friends. Atlas Ivy City will hold a doggy costume contest on Friday, October 28, starting at 6pm and all are welcome to join. The winners will receive Atlas Brew Works gift cards. Petit Afrik will be onsite serving delicious West African cuisine.
