Atlas Brew Works Releases Horchata-Inspired Beer for Hispanic Heritage Month

‘Goldchata’ now available on tap at Ivy City Brewery & Tap Room

Washington, DC—Atlas Brew Works is excited to announce its new beer for Hispanic Heritage Month: Goldchata, a horchata-inspired Golden Ale, now available on tap at the Ivy City Brewery & Tap Room.

With a 5.1% ABV, Goldchata has cinnamon spice up front, smoothed out by the subtle hints of vanilla and oats. The brainchild of Brewer Javier Rosa II, Goldchata was inspired by his time growing up in Arizona where there is a rich Latino culture. Javi would drink horchata all the time, and he noticed a lot of Latino breweries making beer influenced by Latino flavors. Goldchata combines two of his favorite drinks - beer and horchata - into one delicious beverage.

Try Goldchata at Atlas Brew Works’ tenth anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 30, from 12pm to 5pm at Atlas Ivy City. Tickets for the anniversary party can be purchased here.
