D.C.'s Washington Hilton offers new Poolside Summer Cabana Packages

The rooftop pool with Washington Monument and city views is now open for the season

Washington, D.C. (May 15, 2023)— Washington Hilton is thrilled to announce that its heated rooftop pool is now open for the season. With an unobstructed view of the Washington Monument, the pool is open 7-days a week from 6:00AM to 10:00PM from May 1 through October 31. The pool, open to hotel guests and seasonal membership holders, features brand new lounge chairs, food and beverage offerings as well as cabana packages.

“It is always an exciting and beautiful time of the year, when the weather warms up and we open up our pool for the season, " said Kenneth Jarka, Washington Hilton General Manager. “We look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy all the many activities and poolside offerings.” 

The pool deck has numerous comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas for those wanting shade, and even has a kids pool for families looking to have a fun family getaway in the city. Whether from out of town on vacation or a local wanting to enjoy a staycation, all hotel guests have full access to the seasonal pool and health club, with a variety of equipment and yoga classes. Additionally, poolside dining and beverage options will be offered starting Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Memorial Day weekend features poolside specials with beverage partner, CHINOLA, on Sunday, May 28, highlighting the Passion Fruit Liqueur with a custom snow cone machine and unique cocktails. Exciting poolside bar activations will be offered all summer long. The food menu features a variety of sandwiches and salads while the bar menu offers a mix of refreshing cocktails, beer, wine, blended drinks and mocktails. Some of the upcoming signature summer drinks include the Mango Tango Margarita, Yuzu Watermelon Crunch, Lychee Summer Sangria, as well as the No-Groni and Rum-less Punch. 

The hotel offers cabana food and beverage packages ranging from $350-$700 for up to 6 guests per cabana, perfect for family or a group of friends wanting to chill poolside. The cabana features privacy curtains, outdoor wicker soft seating for up to 6 guests, communal coffee tables, and towels. Cabana food and beverage packages include:

• Basin Package offers a picnic style spread that includes sliced deli meats and cheese with an assortment of sliced breads and vegetable toppings and spreads as well as an assortment of chips, potato salad, coleslaw, mixed green salad, fresh fruit, desserts and soft drinks. 

• Infinity Pool Package includes grilled chicken breasts, burgers and hot dogs with toppings, baked mac & cheese, fingerling potatoes, corn on the cob as well as an assortment of chips, potato salad, coleslaw, mixed green salad, fresh fruit, desserts and soft drinks. 

• Olympic Party Package is a cheese and crudité display of hummus and onion dip with assorted crackers, breads, and chips. In addition, the Olympic Party comes with a summer salad, caesar salad, herb roasted potato salad, fruit salad, choice of one seasonal cold appetizer and one seasonal hot appetizer, blackened salmon, BBQ chicken breast, beef sliders and desserts. 

Upon check in, guests receive a daily $20 food and beverage credit to be used at any restaurant or room delivery, as well as pool-side dining from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
