DIRTY HABIT OFFERS FIVE REASONS TO CELEBRATE IN MAY

And Offers Spring Holiday Specials Throughout the Month
WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 26, 2019) – From the Kentucky Derby to Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day, Dirty Habit will have plenty of options for guests looking to feast and celebrate next month. With the sleek, outdoor patio now open, the luxe restaurant and bar is offering a new menu of Asian street food in the courtyard, exclusive mezcal flights, a select menu of appetizers and entrées on the patio, and thematic drink specials to celebrate the spring holidays.
Patio Food Cart
Right in time for warm weather, Executive Chef Kyoo Eom has created savory, delectable bites available on the restaurant’s new patio food cart. Starting at 4:00 p.m. every day, Chef Kyoo and the Dirty Habit culinary team will be firing up Japanese takoyaki filled with octopus, scallions, pickled ginger, bonito flakes, kewpie mayo and Worcestershire sauce ($9), teriyaki chicken yakitori ($9), spicy pork yakitori ($9), and Korean short rib yakitori ($15).
Kentucky Derby Brunch Juleps – 5/4
On Saturday, May 4, guests may enjoy brunch with Dirty Habit’s classic bourbon Mint Julep ($12), or grab seats with friends and make an afternoon of horse-race watching and sipping on Dirty Habit’s everlasting Peach Julep Brunch Punch featuring bourbon, peche de vigne, chamomile yuzu tea and mint ($18).
Cinco de Mayo Tacos & Mezcal Flights – 5/3 to 5/5
Dirty Habit will offer Cinco de Mayo food and drink specials starting Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5. Chef Kyoo will be serving up globally inspired tacos including short rib tacos with braised short rib, kimchi, pickled radish and carrot, and crispy rice, and tuna tacos served in a crispy wonton shell with sushi rice, Peruvian red pepper sauce, wok-seared tuna, and mango pico de gallo. Also throughout the weekend, Beverage Manager Drew Hairston will be offering mezcal flights for guests looking to enjoy a special selection of the spirit and hear directly from Dirty Habit’s bar expert on the subtle differences in mezcal. There will be two flight options in the cleverly named “Flights to Oaxaca,” including:
