Restaurants at Ivy City and Georgetown Launch Tailgate Specials, Meals for Two and More Throughout the Month
Washington, DC—Savor the month away with special offerings at any of Fish & Fire Food Group’s restaurants at The Tavern at Ivy City Smokehouse, Nick’s Riverside Grill and Tony & Joe’s Seafood Place. Starting with Sunday’s Big Game to Valentine’s Day, there are plenty of options across the city to feast on.
In partnership with the American Experience Foundation and support of the future generation of hospitality leaders, diners all month long through Sunday, February 28, can use the code “VISITDC” at checkout when ordering carryout or dining at any of Fish & Fire Food Group’s restaurants. Fifteen (15%) of proceeds will go to the American Experience Foundation.

Nick’s Riverside Grill
Tackle the Big Game on Sunday, February 7 with a few of Nick’s Riverside Grill gameday grill favorites for two. Starting at $45, diners can take their pick of the signature Nick’s wings, delicious pulled pork BBQ, BBQ ribs and two draft beers of choice.
Don’t forget Winter Restaurant Week offerings are still available in its final stretch. The three-course lunch ($22) comes with a Caesar salad or waterfront house salad to start and a chef's dessert of the day. Entrées include al pastor shrimp tacos; a surf & turf burger favorite and rosemary chicken tinged with roasted garlic aioli. angus NY strip steak glazed with red wine; Atlantic salmon filet and the infamous Maryland style crab cake and sautéed shrimp.
In the words of Elvis Presley, find a plate of “burning love” mixed grilled dishes for two starting Friday, February 12 to Sunday, February 14. For $60, a four-course dinner awaits at Nick’s Riverside Grill with rosemary glazed lamb chops; Gulf shrimp tinged with Chipotle; filet mignon; jerk-spiced chicken thighs and grilled vegetables sautéed in tahini and Romesco sauce.

The Tavern at Ivy City Smokehouse
We’ve got you covered in Ivy City with your favorite game day classics. For any chili and nacho fans out there, look no further. Enjoy a bowl of The Tavern’s warm chili with tortilla chips ($10); beef and bean nachos ($12); and a bean and veggie nachos ($11). Feast on a palate for the night with a smoked grilled chicken served up with Ivy City’s spicy pickled jalapeños, BBQ sauce and mac & cheese ($20); or grab a pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw to go ($14).
For Winter Restaurant Week, diners can still enjoy The Tavern's three-course dinner meal ($35) with main dinner entrées such as includes half rack pork ribs with Kingston Farms handcut fries and Ivy City Smokehouse's homemade BBQ sauce; a grilled North Atlantic salmon served with fingerling potatoes with sautéed black olive tapenade and basil aioli; and roasted whole Bronzino with asparagus and basmati rice.

Tony & Joe’s Seafood Place
Winter Restaurant Week items include a light three-course lunch ($22) with a red chili, Boston clam chowder, and salad; shrimp tacos seared with chipotle tomato sauce and a cabbage lime slaw with watermelon and a decadent jumbo lump crab cake sandwich. The three-course dinner ($35) includes a ginger-glazed teriyaki salmon, Maryland jumbo lump crab cake and shrimp; and braised beef short ribs.
Gaze into the night for Valentine’s Day with lovely views of the Georgetown waterfront. From Friday, February 12 to Sunday, February 14, Tony & Joe’s is offering a three-course special for two ($79). Starters include a seafood iced platter with four jumbo shrimp; four oysters on the half shell; and a cocktail and mignonette sauce followed by a surf ‘n turf entrée of grilled filet mignon and shrimp scampi served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Dessert is a truffle heart of chocolate mousse and a raspberry jam ganache.
