Washington, D.C. — The long days of summer may be over soon, but new offerings continue to fuel Fish & Fire Food Group’s restaurants into the fall season. Starting September 15, all locations at Ivy City Smokehouse, Nick’s Riverside Grill, Tony & Joe’s Seafood Place, and The Point will officially kick off happy hour specials. To ensure the health and safety of the restaurant’s patrons, Fish & Fire Food Group is proud to announce that all employees are 100% vaccinated, and will continue to follow local government and CDC guidelines across D.C. But there’s more, here are four reasons to celebrate with us at Fish & Fire Food Group:

The Point Debuts Sushi Bar & Menu

The highly-anticipated sushi bar at The Point recently opened for devoted sushi lovers and foodies alike. The sushi bar, which is centralized in the boisterous dining space, adds views of the restaurant’s blazing oven, bar TV screens along with its tasteful selection of the quality raw and cooked ingredients.

 “Beside the Point” to Open Shop Soon

 
 

“Beside the Point” will open its doors later this fall and will offer to-go style bites and specialty items from Ivy City Smokehouse and more.

Speaking of new things at the Buzzard Point-based restaurant, “Beside the Point” carryout shop is slated to open later this fall right next door.

Community residents and visitors can take advantage of the wide variety of specialty items, which include Ivy City Smokehouse’s products, carryout pizza, salads, soft-serve ice cream, dog treats, and a curated selection of local craft beers and wines.

Your new favorite dish is sizzling hot and ready for any upcoming football game nights, happy hour dates, or family dinners. Enjoy a slice of joy and get a taste of the infamous Detroit-style pizza at Nick’s Riverside Grill

The thick-crust pies are baked to perfection in blue-steel pans and served in four delectable flavors including: margherita ($16) topped with fresh mozzarella, basil and cherry tomatoes; classic pepperoni ($18); a unique take of shrimp scampi ($20); and pork & fennel sausage drizzled with parmesan and provolone cheese.

Shuck It! Oyster & Beer Festival Returns, Vaccination Proof Required

The shellfish celebration benefiting Earth Conservation Corp. returns to Tony & Joe's Seafood Place on Saturday, October 23, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. To protect the wellbeing and safety of Shuck It! Oyster & Beer Festival, guests, vendors, staff, and all individuals working or attending the outdoor event will need to be fully vaccinated and provide verified proof of vaccination. 

Get ready for expert shuckers dishing up the freshest raw, grilled and fried oysters. The highlight of the event will feature 12 different oysters from the local Chesapeake, Northeast, and West Coast regions, and an abundance of other succulent specialties.
