Destination Property Welcomes Guests Following Pandemic Closure
GAITHERSBURG, MD--Today Mark Carrier, President of the B.F. In 1973, the Holiday Inn Gaithersburg gained national renown when its largest three-bedroom, four bath Presidential Suite sold for $1,400 per night to Rolls-Royce chauffeured guests. For decades, the property has hosted all types of guests including Rock Hudson, Elvis Presley, Sonny & Cher, and Liberace. In the 1990s, culinary superstar Chef Bryan Voltaggio launched his career at the hotel as a sous chef for the hotel restaurant and banquets, later rising to fame on Top Chef.
