Old Sugar Mill Pancake House at De Leon Springs State Park Reopens Under Management by Guest Services, Inc.
De Leon Springs, FL – Guest Services, Inc. announced its celebration of the re-opening of the treasured Old Sugar Mill Pancake House at De Leon Springs State Park. The regarded hospitality management company and National Park Service concessionaire reopened the beloved restaurant on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, following several upgrades, including structural improvements and installing a new roof.
The restaurant is open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends and holidays and continues to feature its classic "make your own pancakes" tables alongside enhancements to the food and beverage menus. A Grand Opening celebration is planned for Nov. 16, 2022.
Guest Services, Inc. officially assumed operations as the new concessionaire at De Leon Springs State Park on Oct. 1. The company, founded in 1917, has a long-standing relationship with Florida State Parks. It brings to De Leon Springs decades of service to national and state parks, and visitors can expect the highest standards of hospitality that are the trademark of other Guest Services, Inc.-managed properties around Florida. De Leon Springs joins the company’s award-winning portfolio of state parks that includes Blue Spring, Hontoon Island and Weeki Wachee Springs, among others.

In addition to the Old Sugar Mill Pancake House, De Leon Springs State Park also offers numerous recreational opportunities including swimming in its clear, spring waters, roaming nature trails, including one with a cypress tree that is more than 600 years old, and interacting with interpretive displays showcasing its rich cultural history.
