June Brings Growth and Opportunity for Bell’s Reines with New Ventures

In Addition to New Retail Locations, Bell’s Reines Participates in National Food Shows and More

Washington, D.C.— Bell’s Reines, the gourmet Black-owned mini cookie company based in Washington DC, is proud to announce a new retail partnership with the Smithsonian Institution. Beginning this month, visitors and tourists alike can purchase Bell’s Reines cookies in the Smithsonian Museum Shops at the National Museum of African American History and Culture and the National Museum of American History.

In addition to this new retail partnership, Bell’s Reines has also confirmed its participation in the 2024 Summer Fancy Food Show on June 23-25, 2024. The show, which takes place in New York City, showcases the newest and best in specialty food and beverage, a perfect match for Bell’s Reines small batch, handcrafted, and Non-GMO cookies.

Continuing on their upward growth, Bell’s Reines has also been enrolled in The Envision Group’s Retail Incubator Program, which is designed to support early-stage retail ventures, particularly those led by diverse or underrepresented founders. The program provides non-dilutive funding, tailored workshops and mentorship, plus community & network building opportunities.

The mother daughter duo behind Bell’s Reines, Angel Thompson-Cephas and Teneisha Bell-Thompson, has curated an offering of more than 8 specialty flavors with gluten free and vegan options, including classic favorites like chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin, alongside unique options such as matcha white chocolate chip, lemon, double chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and butter. Each small-batch cookie is baked by hand using the highest quality of nut free ingredients with no artificial flavors or added preservatives.

Bell’s Reines’ mission is to encourage customers to “Savor The Small Things” and satisfy their sweet tooth in moderation by providing a treat that is less than 100 calories and Non-GMO Project Verified. The current cookie collection ranges from classics like snickerdoodle and chocolate chip to more unique flavors like matcha white chip and lemon. Customers can shop the snack packs and assorted cookie tins directly on Bell’s Reines website, all of which are delivered straight to your doorstep.

In addition to being available for purchase at Smithsonian Museum Shops and online, Bell’s Reines has strategically established an inventory in local retail stores throughout the DMV area. These include Shop Made In DC, several locations within Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (Capitol File Kiosk, DC Originals, The Neighborgoods), and two Maryland locations: Local Flavor Love and Park Ridge Trading Company.
