Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington Announces 2023 RAMMY Awards Finalists

Foodservice industry celebrates innovative individuals and concepts as category finalists

Washington, DC—Industry professionals and allies gathered this evening as Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced finalists for the 2023 RAMMY Awards, the winners of which will be named on Sunday, July 9, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The 41st Annual RAMMYS return to honor excellence in long-standing categories that range from individual professional honors to accolades celebrating culinary concepts and service.

This year’s category changes include a move from Pastry Chef of the Year to Pastry Chef or Baker of the Year, ensuring the area’s many outstanding bakers and pastry chefs can be recognized, and introducing Best Bar as a publicly voted category, recognizing the magnitude of nightlife establishments in the region. For the very first time, both the finalists and winners for the five publicly voted categories are chosen by the public.
