Ring in 2023 at The Henri with a special four-course New Year’s Eve menu
Washington, D.C. (December 13, 2022) — Celebrate the New Year at The Henri with Chef Frederik De Pue’s festive prix-fixe menu. The multi-course menu ($135 per person, tax and gratuity included) will be available for one night only on Saturday, December 31, and includes a variety of unique flavors, seasonal ingredients and decadent pairings.
Each guest will be welcomed with a variety of small bites including king crab spring rolls, steak and potato, and bonnet roasted cauliflower. Starters include the choice of hamachi crudo paired with blood orange dressing and red beet carpaccio, creamy Maryland crab bisque, and foie gras terrine (+18) with ginger crumble, brioche bread and apple-hibiscus butter.
Entrée options include wellington topped with madeira jus and winter mushroom duxelles, turbot pave served with confit savoy cabbage, black truffle jus, and granny smith apple salsa, and rotisserie roasted venison loin with black garlic crust shallot confit and celery root lasagna.
Top off the New Year’s Eve dinner with decadent desserts like a belgian chocolate crunchy bar covered in miso caramel sauce or a trio of The Henri’s finest cheeses served with rustic bread.
The restaurant’s extensive full bar menu will be available a la carte featuring a variety of signature cocktails, fine wines, beers, and bubbly. The Henri will serve the special New Year’s Eve menu from 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
