The Henri Introduces New Dishes for Spring

Enjoy elevated seasonal fare in the heart of D.C.

Washington, D.C.—The Henri is thrilled to unveil its new spring menus this month. Enjoy a modern twist on tantalizing seasonal fare with updates to the restaurant’s lunch, dinner, bar bites, and pre-theatre menus for spring.

Enjoy innovative starters like the pea and burrata with sweet spring peas, burrata, and a ginger, lemongrass, grapeseed dressing, mizuna salad with spring radish, yoghurt crumble, pickled cucumber, and zucchini tartare, and spinach soup with madras curry, PEI mussels, and pickled celery. Order entrées like the stuffed squid with ratatouille, balsamic granita, and herb salad, a trio of duck meatballs with a mango-lentil salad and soy dressing, and grilled dorade filet with sweet peas and a shiso buttermilk dressing. Other new items include the fish and chips, featuring Allagash-battered Atlantic cod with pommes anna and tartar sauce, and the truffle croque infused with gruyere, truffle bechamel, and prosciutto di Parma served with a green salad.

Guests are invited to order The Henri’s new seasonal cocktail, the Spring Spirit ($16). Enjoy this twist on a margarita with cherry liqueur, lime, and triple sec, topped with Luxardo cherries.

The Henri is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 2pm, and for dinner Monday through Saturday from 4pm to 8:30pm with the bar open until 9:30pm.
