Opening this spring, Perch Putt will welcome guests to an 18-hole rooftop miniature golf course with gorgeous aerial views of the city and rolling Shenandoah foothills below. The Aviary offers a bountiful and healthy breakfast featuring a rotating menu of locally-sourced and chef-driven dishes, such as brioche french toast, egg whites with spinach, freshly baked goods, a selection of cheeses, and an array of exciting dishes for guests to start off their day. And already one of the hottest restaurants in the region, Wren is a chic and stunning dining destination, located on the 11th floor of The Watermark Hotel, offering diners a bird’s eye view of the city. Guests enjoy an inventive, artful menu of Japanese-inspired tapas by Executive Chef Yo Matsuzaki. Recent menus have featured delectable pork belly bao buns, sweet corn tempura and country miso ramen. Chef Matsuzaki draws upon locally-grown ingredients to present guests with sophisticated yet approachable cuisine that fuses Japanese street food with modern American ingredients. The expertly curated bar serves handcrafted cocktails, regional wines, locally-brewed beer on tap, and a large collection of bourbons, scotches and whiskeys, along with other hard-to-find spirits.
