12/15: Atlas Brew Works Releases Triple Barrel Aged Tomb Essence Cask

WHAT: Experience Atlas Brew Works’ cask program with a special Triple Barrel Aged Tomb Essence Cask release on Thursday, December 15, at the Ivy City Brewery & Tap Room.

This one-time release is the product of Sean Palmateer, head of quality assurance, hand selecting a barrel of imperial stout and further aging the beer twice in unique whiskey barrels. From there, the brewery team pulled a small sample of the thrice whiskey barrel aged imperial stout and cask conditioned it to be gravity poured. The flavor leads with vanilla bean and macadamia nut, followed by dark chocolate and subtle oak.

There will be a limited amount of pints available, starting at 4pm, so guests are invited to get there as soon as Atlas Ivy City opens to try this special release.
