9/28: World Culture Festival Stage Reveal, Updated Programming Briefing

Media is invited to join us to preview the largest stage ever built on the National Mall, along with a programming update related to the potential government shutdown

WHAT: The World Culture Festival is happening this week. In light of a potential government shutdown which could impact access to the National Mall, representatives from the Art of Living Foundation will announce on Thursday whether updates to the Sunday, October 1 festival programming will be necessary. 

In addition to the programming update, members of the media will also get an exclusive first look at the largest stage ever built on the National Mall and hear more about the layout of the Festival. Pertinent information for the public, namely street closures, can be found HERE

WHERE:

Enter at 6th Street NW & Madison Drive NW on the south side of the National Gallery of Art. You will be escorted to the Media Tent on the National Mall.

RSVP: To confirm attendance or for more information, please email WCF2023@lindarothpr.com with the names and contact information of all individuals expected. Names and outlets must be provided in advance to gain access to the media briefing tent on Festival grounds. 

An RSVP to this Thursday briefing is not the same as applying for a media credential for the Festival itself. The media credential application can be found HERE
