2023 World Culture Festival: Sunday In-Person Programming Confirmed on National Mall

WHAT: Today, the National Park Service and the Mayor of the District of Columbia, Muriel Bowser, agreed to provide access to the National Mall for the planned third day of the World Culture Festival. Regardless of the status of the government shutdown, the World Culture Festival will go on as planned on Sunday, Oct.1. 

Art of Living Foundation spokesperson Kushal Choksi said, “We are thrilled to announce that irrespective of a federal government shutdown, we have been allowed to continue with our Sunday programming on the National Mall. We are grateful for our partnership with the Mayor’s Office and the District of Columbia in addition to the National Park Service for allowing us to welcome the world to Washington on Sunday as well.”
