Atlas Brew Works Unveils Inauguration Beers, DTC Shipping + Craft Beer Club Expansions and More

A new year brings exciting updates, new beers to Ivy City and Half Street brewery

Washington, DC—Solar-powered craft brewery, Atlas Brew Works is thrilled to announce exciting updates for the new year. Atlas rolls out Amtrak Joe Pilsner and Madam Veep’s IPA ahead of Inauguration, launched its craft beer club subscription for DMV residents, expanded its direct-to-consumer shipping to Marylanders and Ohioans, and added virtual tasting dates. 

Inauguration Edition Special Releases – now available to order

Cheers to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris with Atlas Brew Works’ special Inauguration edition releases: Amtrak Joe’s Pilsner and Madam Veep’s IPA. Brewed with Saaz and Mt. Hood hops, Amtrak Joe’s Pilsner is a crisp, light, and refreshing 4.7% ABV craft lager. Brewed with Mosaic and Citra hops, Madam Veep’s IPA is a 5.7% ABV juicy pale ale, packed with citrus flavor. Made in collaboration with OccasionAles.com, both beers are available for order online at occasionales.com. Orders are available for pickup at Atlas Half Street Brewery & Tap Room starting January 16.

Atlas Craft Beer Club Subscription Now Available for DMV Residents

DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia residents can now join the Atlas Craft Beer Club, the craft brewery’s monthly subscription service with exclusive discounts and perks, for pickup at either tap room location. Atlas Craft Beer Club members receive first dibs on limited and small batch offerings, exclusive merch, discounts at both tap room locations, and other perks. Direct-to-Consumer Shipping Expands to Maryland and Ohio

Atlas Brew Works is excited to announce its DTC shipping program now includes Maryland and Ohio. Marylanders and Ohioans, in addition to Virginians and Pennsylvanians, can get Atlas’ solar-powered craft beer delivered right to their doors. Social Butterfly Effect Limited Release – coming soon

Grab a bottle of Atlas’ limited release, the Social Butterfly Effect, available in the coming weeks. The barrel-aged red is one for true sour beer lovers. The team of brewers started with a blend of three beers aged up to three years and added 240lbs of raspberries, giving the Social Butterfly Effect a mouth-puckering raspberry punch. Upcoming Virtual Tap Room Tastings – Friday, February 12 @ 6pm

On Friday, February 12, and continuing the second Friday of every month for the foreseeable future, join Atlas Brew Works for an intimate virtual tasting of its solar-powered craft beers. On February 12, Founder & CEO Justin Cox and Head Brewer Daniel Vilarrubi will walk through the brews and answer any questions. Tasting kits start at $20 and include the guided tasting, a mixed six-pack of Atlas’ core and limited release craft beers, with the option to add additional six-packs, tasting glasses, hand sanitizer, koozies, and other swag for an additional fee. Atlas’ Ivy City (2052 West Virginia Ave NE #102) is open for curbside pickup and delivery from 1pm to 5pm daily, while rollbacks are in place. Atlas’ Half Street (1201 Half Street SE #120) is open for carryout and winterized patio offerings Mondays through Fridays from 4pm to 10pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 10pm.
