RAMW Highlights Winter Restaurant Week Offerings + Outdoor Dining Options

Signature promotion resets, giving diners and restaurants something to celebrate this month

Washington, DC— Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced today the roster of restaurants participating in Winter Restaurant Week from Monday, January 25, to Sunday, February 7. The list includes 200+ locations ranging from fast-casual eateries to dining destinations in neighborhoods throughout the region. The original dates were postponed by one week, given the fluid nature of activities and regulatory measures tied to DC’s State of Emergency affecting the region. As indoor dining remains limited in many parts of metropolitan Washington, Winter Restaurant Week includes a robust to-go and delivery program, to-go cocktail and wine pairings, and the promotion runs over two full weeks, encouraging public support of restaurants throughout DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

In addition to multi-course lunch and brunch menus available for $22 per person, Winter Restaurant Week restaurants are also offering multi-course dinner menus for $35 and $55 per person, as well as specialty to-go dinners perfectly portioned for sharing:

New this cycle, the Restaurant Week website includes fields to identify carryout and delivery partners as well as winterized outdoor dining options to help keep guests informed as they consider where and how to safely dine.

“Now, more than ever, our restaurants and their employees need our support. Restaurant Week was born from crisis in 2001, post-9/11, and returns to aid an ailing industry,” said Kathy E. Hollinger, President and CEO of the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington. “The program has been tailored to allow for participation no matter what phase of reopening the region is in, what rollbacks may take place, or what level or type of service a restaurant is able to provide at the time with to-go offerings, curbside pickup, delivery, and dine-in or winterized outdoor dining options.”

Restaurants offering to-go menus with optional cocktail or wine pairings include Alta Strada’s DC and Mosaic locations, Baan Siam, Celebration by Rupa Vira, Et Voila!, Liberty Tavern, Lyon Hall, San Lorenzo, and more. Fast-casual eateries like CHIKO’s Dupont and Capitol Hill locations, Rockland’s Barbecue & Grilling Co., Sloppy Mama’s Barbecue, and Stellina Pizzeria have joined the lineup this season. And legendary fine dining spots like Bond 45, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, and Eddie V’s will participate at a time when their celebrated restaurants need more support than ever. First time Restaurant Week participants also include Chloe, El Cielo, Immigrant Food, Lulu’s Winegarden, Mon Ami Gabi, Prost, and Thamee.

Diners can visit the Restaurant Week website at www.rwdmv.com to view participating restaurant menus, to make reservations, or to place orders. Restaurant Week sponsors include Events DC, OpenTable, NBC4/Telemundo 44, Airbnb, Embassy of Japan, Streetsense, National Harbor, National Landing BID and DC To Go-Go.
