Chef David Kirschner launched dineDK as a way to put his culinary talents to work for clients looking to connect and create unique gatherings with Michelin-level menus served in any venue of choice. With almost 20 years of experience in the NYC food scene, Chef Kirschner and dineDK have assembled an arsenal of talented chefs and Experience Managers to provide a plethora of dining services with connections to trusted local vendors. One of dineDK’s innovative successes includes launching a private chef at home placement service, which focuses on placing talented chefs in ongoing roles in clients' homes for an extended period of time. With an acquired collection of nearly 40 talented, Michelin level chefs and continuing to expand, Chef Kirschner thoughtfully matches clients and chefs based on nutritional needs and dietary requests, serving the greater NYC area and other larger cities such as Miami, West Palm Beach, and LA.

 

As a local entrepreneur and small business owner, Chef Kirschner found a way to grow his company while offering a new opportunity for people in the region to explore and experiment with new foods. During the pandemic, Kirschner saw a need among his peers looking to sustain their careers and began the idea of reinventing a new program. A program that not only provided innovative services to the region's food industry but also elevating the quality provided to clients. 

 

Kirschner expressed, “The most memorable, magical moments of our lives happen around the dining table. Over the years, I saw the desire that companies and families needed to connect with chefs to level up their entertainment and dining experiences so we adapted dineDK to meet those needs by starting the at home chef placement services. We want to make talented Private Chefs accessible; putting our client's vision and needs first, and truly allowing them to be guests at their own table.” Coming in with a “blank canvas” mentality, dineDK’s chefs and managers work with each client to fully design the perfect culinary experience keeping the client as the focal point and driving inspiration behind the menu with no limitations. Starting with a conversation and building each aspect of the event together around the unique client’s vision and goals, the process is more focused on designing with a sophisticated approach versus just taking an order. 

 

Food has always been a central part of Chef Kirschner’s life, training in some of New York and New Jersey’s top rated kitchens. Chef Kirschner started his career at the three Michelin-starred restaurant, Per Se in New York City, then moved to serving as a Sous Chef with The Mina Group, and eventually leading the kitchen at Daryl Wine Bar who, during their prime, received a James Beard nomination for “Best New Restaurant in America.” Chef Kirschner then opened and ran the beloved Hoboken institution, Zylo at the W Hotel, before joining the food media company Tasting Table, where he ran its private dining loft in SoHo and established his now signature market-inspired cuisine, entertained a variety of clients, and conceptualized iconic events. There he built a vision to better serve his clients, local chefs and vendor partners alike.
