Introducing Spice n’ Nice: A Revolutionary All-Natural Coffee Flavoring Company

Flavors are made from premium spices, flowers, and herbs – product is intended to be brewed with coffee beans in a style traditional to the founder’s cherished Ukrainian, Mediterranean family heritage

Washington, DCSpice n’ Nice, a women-owned and operated company based out of Washington, D.C., creates all-natural add-in coffee flavorings made from premium spices, flowers, and herbs. The easy-to-use product is a healthy, no-calorie alternative to syrups and creamers and is free from sugar, artificial sweeteners and chemicals. Founded by Mariya Cherk, a dynamic, Ukrainian-born entrepreneur, the company's products were inspired by her family’s generational recipes and traditions.

Spice n’ Nice delivers a piece of luxury for coffee lovers – all from the comforts of their own home. Each carefully crafted bottle is filled to the brim with the most potent and flavorful spices, flowers, and herbs that humanity has been enjoying for centuries. Current flavors include: the soothing symphony of Lavender Vanilla, the tantalizing fusion of Cinnamon Apple, the velvety allure of Vanilla Chai and the captivating essence of Cardamom Rose. New flavors are released each season and flavorings are sold on the Spice n’ Nice website

“I launched Spice n’ Nice to provide healthy alternatives to flavored syrups and creamers, giving people an option to flavor their coffee without compromising their own lifestyle choices,” Cherk said. “The brand is an homage to my family roots and love for flavor in everything in my life.”

Each dash of Spice n’ Nice flavoring adds a boost of self-care, elevating the daily morning ritual for many people. We like to say the feeling of that first cup of coffee flavored by Spice n’ Nice is like the best hug you have ever received in your life – warm, promising, safe, loving; a tight hug you get from your most favorite person.

About Mariya’s Coffee Journey

Raised in New York City, but now living in Washington, DC, Mariya Cherk has been enjoying flavoring her coffee naturally her whole life, just like her family has for generations. Coffee and teatime have always been a time of calmness and self-care in her family and they never took that time for granted.

When the coronavirus pandemic hit, Mariya, like many others, was unable to see her family, but coffee time was always something she did with her grandparents via FaceTime. With her favorite coffee shops being closed, she became her own barista and purchased many different types of flavored syrups and creamers to create variety each morning. However she started to see negative effects from these products on her physical and mental well-being and quickly sought alternatives.

Motivated by her family's tradition of flavoring coffee using cardamom, rose petals, and other spices, flowers, and herbs to add flavor, Mariya decided to seek out a product that matched her needs. However, she noticed that ordering premium quality spices, flowers, and herbs was quite expensive and often came in large quantities. Moreover, it seemed that no one in the market was focusing on creating a healthy alternative to flavored syrups and creamers.

Encouraged by her COO Risa Lin to start this business, Mariya embarked on a tedious, months-long journey to create Spice n' Nice, perfecting the recipes to flavor everyone's coffee naturally, with no refined sugars, naturally calorie-free, dairy-free and always diet-friendly.
