Specials announced at the DMV’s top cocktail, wine, and beer restaurants the week of June 26

Washington, DC—Finalists for Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s 2023 RAMMY Awards Cocktail Program of the Year, Wine Program of the Year, and Beer Program of the Year have exciting events and promotions planned for the last week of June. From Monday, June 26, through Friday, June 30, the region’s top beverage programs will showcase their outstanding in-house offerings. Guests are encouraged to come out and celebrate their favorite watering holes.

Era Wine Bar - 2023 Wine Program of the Year Finalist

During RAMMYS Beverage Week from Monday, June 26, through Friday, June 30, join Era Wine Bar for its ‘Around the World in a Rosé’ promotion, which includes flights of up to four rosés made in different styles from various world regions. In honor of Era Wine Bar’s RAMMYS nomination, we will also have a ‘Summer Jams’ flight, featuring their staff favorites for the season. Visitors can also enjoy special pricing for dine-in and to-go bottles in honor of the RAMMYS.

Lost & Found - 2023 Beer Program of the Year Finalist

Lost & Found brewed a special beer with Pherm Brewing in Gambrills, MD, in celebration of their new farm-to-table Annapolis restaurant, Leo. ‘Play It Leo’ is an American IPA brewed with New Zealand Motueka, Idaho 7, and Idaho Gem. Amber hued with a balance of flavor and slight bitterness. From June 26 through June 30 for RAMMYS Beverage Week, Lost & Found will offer Play It Leo IPAs for just $5. On Wednesday, June 28, Lost & Found will feature a tap takeover with Pherm Brewing, showcasing some of their rare and unique new beers. The team from Pherm will be there to talk to guests and there will be opportunities for swag giveaways.

Lulu’s Winegarden - 2023 Wine Program of the Year Finalist

Lulu’s Winegarden is celebrating its Wine Program of the Year nomination with a wine-filled week of bottle specials, themed flights, happy hours and more! From Tuesday, June 27, through Friday, June 30, the U Street wine garden will offer $35 bottles and $9 glasses of wine (with more than 20 bottle and 10 glass choices) during its Golden Hour happy hour (5-7pm Tuesday-Thursday; 4-6pm Friday). Lulu’s will also showcase a different "Wine of the Day” each day of the week, discounting daily bottles to just $35 all night long. The bottle-driven bar will offer an opportunity to taste a bit of everything, with a special RAMMYS themed wine flight throughout the week.

And if you want to kick off RAMMYS Beverage Week early, Lulu’s Winegarden is hosting its monthly Blind Wine(d) blind wine tasting series on Wednesday, June 14: expert local sommelier Daniel Runnerstrom takes guests through a blind tasting of secret wines, teaching them how to identify wines using only their senses, paired with snacks from Lulu’s chef/partner Cable Smith, for just $60 (on Resy).

The Midlands Beer Garden - 2023 Beer Program of the Year Finalist

The Midlands Beer Garden will sell specially selected beer flights for $10, featuring two competing flights picked by beer directors Trent Allen and Ben Brown, from Monday, June 26, through Friday, June 30. Trent and Ben will bring in some of their favorite specialty beers from around the world in a head to head beer geek battle, so come on in and vote for your favorite!

Primrose - 2023 Wine Program of the Year Finalist

As a Wine Program of the Year Finalist, Primrose will bring back its "Magnum Mayhem" nights for RAMMYS Beverage Week! Previously (pre-pandemic), Primrose periodically hosted "Magnum Mayhem" nights, where sought-after wines in magnum bottles would be featured. Typically, the wines would be kept secret until the day of the event. On the evenings of Tuesday, June 27, through Friday, June 30, owner Sebastian Zutant will feature two-three different magnum bottles of select wine each evening. To keep with tradition, the magnum bottles of wine will not be revealed until the day of the event. 

Salt - 2023 Cocktail Program of the Year Finalist
