Museum of Illusions: Halloween Festivities For The Entire Family
WHAT: The Museum of Illusions Washington DC (927 H Street NW) is thrilled to announce its Halloween Happy Hours & Kids Halloween Hunt is back starting this week on October 10, 2024.
Every Thursday evening in October, the Museum of Illusions DC will have Halloween themed activities, optical tricks, lighting effects, illusions and more. Some of the highlights include complimentary drinks at check in, special Halloween-themed illusions and projections, photo booths with spooky backdrops, and more. Guests are also encouraged to come dressed in Halloween attire for a costume contest with prizes.
In addition to the Thursday night events, there will be a Halloween themed scavenger hunt for kids starting October 26th through November 2nd, from 10 AM–11 AM. Kids ages 12 and under can join in on the fun, exploring the museum to find hidden Halloween-themed stickers. As they search for clues among the illusions, they’ll learn fun facts and take pictures of their discoveries. A few bonus activities will also be onsite for kids including an illusion face-painting station to be transformed into a spooky character, as well as a craft corner to make an optical illusion-inspired mask and prop to take home.

The museum will be open from 10AM to 8PM Sunday through Thursday and from 10AM to 9PM Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the museum is open from 11AM to 6PM and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online ahead of their visit.
