About Pappe
Since 2018, Pappe has brought authentic Northern Indian cuisine to the 14th Street corridor. Pappe, which means ‘brother’ in Punjabi, is an affectionate term we at Pappe to refer to one another. Led by Executive Chef Sanjay Mandhaiya, Pappe’s food is inspired by fresh and rich ingredients, a savory traditional fare that represents his homeland and feeds the soul. Pappe’s design is inspired by the vibrant markets of Delhi and Jaipur, where draped fabrics provide a colorful backdrop to a multitude of street food vendors. The space features photos from the partners’ recent visits to India, as well as hand painted murals from local artist John DeNapoli. Learn more at www.pappedc.com, and on Facebook and Instagram.
