RAMW Announces Record Number of Participants for Summer 2024 Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week

Choose from 350+ restaurants and over 75 different global cuisines during next week’s foodie celebration

Washington, DC (August 8, 2024)—Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) is thrilled to announce a record number of restaurants have signed up for Summer Restaurant Week, taking place Monday, August 12, through Sunday, August 18. With over 350 restaurants to choose from, this year’s promotion will feature the largest number of restaurants to ever participate in the biannual promotion - both summer and winter cycles - and diners can experience over 75 different cuisines at different prices.

“The unprecedented participation this year underscores the dynamic culinary landscape of our region,” said Shawn Townsend, President and CEO of RAMW. “This is the largest number of participants we have ever seen for Restaurant Week, which is a constant reminder of how integral restaurants are to the fabric of our region. Our local eateries not only provide a wide array of culinary experiences but also bring people together and contribute significantly to the cultural and economic vitality of our communities. We are excited to showcase the incredible diversity and talent of our local chefs and restaurateurs. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a visitor, this Restaurant Week offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich and varied flavors that define our culinary scene.”

Celebrate the multitude of diverse cuisines found across the metropolitan Washington region through multi-course brunch and lunch menus for $25 or $35 per person, and multi-course dinner menus for $40, $55, or $65 per person. As in past years, many restaurants will also offer cocktail, wine, and non-alcoholic pairings, giving diners a variety of beverages to choose from.

Diners should visit the Restaurant Week website at www.rwdmv.com to view participating restaurant menus and make reservations. For more information on Summer Restaurant Week, or for visual assets, please contact Avery Meetre at avery@lindarothpr.com
