Xiquet Celebrates Globally Renowned Raríssimo Wines

Washington, DC--Chef Danny Lledó announced today two incredibly rare opportunities to enjoy selections from Raríssimo Wines and meet one of Portugal’s most awarded winemakers, Osvaldo Amado. On June 21 and 22 Amado will present his wines at Lledó’s MICHELIN Star, AAA Five Diamond destination restaurant Xiquet (2404 Wisconsin Avenue NW; 202-913-4671). Guests can reserve tickets to an intimate personal tasting, or a lavish multi-course dinner in Xiquet’s new Cellar.

Reservations for parties of 1-4 are available at 5:30pm, 7:00pm, or 8:30pm 

$150 per person, exclusive of tax or gratuity 

The private tasting of five wines will be paired with snacks from Xiquet, offering a sensory tour through Portugal’s Dão and Bairrada wine regions.

An intimate wine dinner will feature a seven-course tasting menu of Portuguese cuisine inspired by the Bairrada region of Portugal, where Chef Danny’s mother Maria Helena was born and raised.
