Dog Daze Social Club Is Opening Soon In Logan Circle
New Restaurant to Feature Adjacent 6,000 Sq. Ft. Dog-Friendly Garden
Washington D.C. (September 5, 2024) — Dog Daze Social Club (1100 Rhode Island Ave NW, Washington, DC 20005), a new hospitality concept with a restaurant and an adjoining dog-friendly garden is set to open this month in Logan Circle, offering a multi-faceted experience to the neighborhood. The team at Dog Daze has created a unique space next to Logan Circle where patrons can enjoy delicious food and drinks with friends in the café and restaurant or socialize and play with their furry companions in the 6,000 sq. ft. dog-friendly garden.
Dog Daze has created a vibrant restaurant space with a dynamic selection of menu offerings. Mornings start with a choice of expertly crafted coffees or refreshing smoothies. The cafe will feature a full-service coffee program, highlighting special roasts created for the Dog Daze team by UNIDO Coffee. Just Juice, known for its popular stand at the Dupont Farmers Market, will provide a variety of smoothies and acai bowls. The cafe’s menu will be accessible to those outside in the dog garden, as well as pedestrians passing by on their morning commute via the walk up window.
In the afternoons and evenings, the inside & covered patio spaces transition from a cafe to a restaurant, where guests can indulge in authentic Chicago tavern-style pizza, the centerpiece of the menu. For those seeking lighter options, delicious focaccia sandwiches, fresh salads and a selection of small plates will also be available. The well versed beverage menu is designed to perfectly complement the everyday fare. Dog Daze will be the first restaurant in DC to feature Lost Barrel Brewing, the winner of the Virginia Craft Beer Cup. Additionally, a menu of handcrafted cocktails created by DC cocktail veteran Lukas B. Smith will also be available. For a sweet finale, guests won’t want to miss the specialty Fior di Latte soft serve and seasonal sorbet flavors.
Dog Daze is excited to also create a welcoming space where dogs and their owners can enjoy both a beautiful dog-friendly garden and a flavorful dining experience. Embracing DC’s dog-loving community, they plan to host curated events ranging from expert talks with dog trainers, adoption events and puppy yoga. The dog-friendly garden will feature mature trees and brand-new synthetic turf, which is cleaned daily, ensuring a fun and safe environment for dogs and their owners to enjoy. Additionally, Dog Daze will offer a selection of specialized treats made just for dogs, elevating the experience for every four-legged visitor.

Providing a safe, friendly and clean environment is a top priority, and all dogs must be registered before entering the garden. To ensure safety, this area will be monitored by a dedicated Pup Patrol, and fresh water will be readily available.
